With the continued rise in the market share of new energy vehicles (NEVs), Huaseh Technology Group (stock code: 6272) expects sustained growth through 2025. In 2024, thanks to a significant increase in shipments from major Chinese EV brands such as BYD, Changan, Dongfeng, and Hongqi, as well as Tier 1 suppliers like BorgWarner and Delta, the Group’s automotive electronics subsidiary, Huasheng Automotive Electronics, achieved record-high revenue—becoming the key driver behind the Group’s overall revenue and profit growth.
Approaching its 35th anniversary, Huaseh Technology Group operates two main business segments: electronic components and automotive electronic components. Last year, its subsidiary Jiangsu Huasheng Automotive, which focuses solely on automotive electronics, recorded its highest revenue ever, accounting for over half of the Group’s total revenue—indicating its growing importance in contributing to the Group’s performance.
Huasheng Automotive identified three key drivers behind its record-setting revenue last year:
1. The most notable factor was the explosive growth in shipments from global EV leader BYD, with over three million sets of Huasheng products delivered to the client.
2. After years of cooperation in the NEV wire harness sector, international Tier 1 manufacturers began placing large-volume orders.
3. Automaker clients significantly increased their orders for NEV-related medium- and low-voltage wire harnesses, diagnostic cables, and high-speed data transmission cables. Overall, shipments have shifted from being primarily for fuel-powered vehicles to mainly for NEVs.
In the second half of last year, the NEV penetration rate in the Chinese auto market surpassed 50%, a trend expected to continue this year. Huasheng Automotive will maintain its deep focus on China’s automotive electronics market by targeting domestic brands and NEV companies, while also expanding into European, Southeast Asian, and American markets. The outlook for 2025 remains optimistic.
Huasheng Automotive’s core automotive electronics products include:
1. In-car USB charging ports – Over 4 million units were shipped last year, supplying both Chinese and international carmakers. Shipments are expected to exceed 5 million units this year.
2. Integrated smart automotive antennas – These multifunctional antennas combine radio, 5G NR, 4G LTE, high-precision GPS, and Wi-Fi capabilities. Customized to client needs, they have been selected for key vehicle models over the next three years, with shipments starting this year to boost revenue.
3. NEV wire harnesses – Current clients include international and Taiwan-based Tier 1 suppliers, and the business is expanding to include new Japanese and American clients.
4. High-speed data transmission cables – With increasing demand for smart, large-screen vehicle systems, the need for high-speed data transmission continues to grow. Huasheng is focusing on these products this year and expects to win new orders from Chinese NEV manufacturers, with demand projected to rise by over 30%.
5. Automotive PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) OEM business – Huasheng is seeing stable growth in PCBA orders for new clients involved in NEV’s “three electrics” systems (battery, electric drive, and electronic control).
Huaseh Technology Group is participating in the 2025 Taipei AMPA AutoTronics Exhibition, held from April 24 to 26 at the Nangang Exhibition Center. They will showcase five major automotive electronics product lines at Booth L0202, 4th Floor, Hall 1.
