Wieson launches DisplayPort 1.4 HBR 3 Cable for 8K high-resolution application

According to the analyst group ResearchandMarkets , the global display panel market was valued at USD $128.73 billion in 2018, and is expected to reach USD $165 billion by 2024, registering a CAGR of 4.2% during the forecast period (2019-2024), and the global 8K Technology market accounted for USD $2.05 billion in 2017 and is expected to reach USD $68.13 billion by 2026 growing at a CAGR of 47.6%.

DisplayPort 1.4 can support for Display Stream Compression 1.2, Forward Error Correction, and extends the maximum number of inline audio channels to 32, its bandwidth of High Bit Rate 3 (HBR3) connections is 32.4Gpbs, it enables the connection of Displayport supported PC, Laptop or Graphics card to a high resolution (7680×4320 (8K) at 60Hz, 5120×2880 (5K) at 60Hz, 4096×2160 (4K) at 120Hz) Monitor or other Displayport supported device.

Wieson’s DP cable has been passed through rigorous test (DP 1.4 HBR3 Specification), it can reliably support 5K or 8K monitors, as well as high-performance 4K monitors, and is approved by VESA(
