Wieson Technologies HDMI® 2.2 Ultra96 Cable Achieves HDMI® Certification

Partnering with UL Solutions to Enter the 96Gbps Next-Generation High-Speed Interconnect Arena

As AI PCs, high-performance computing (HPC), high-refresh-rate gaming, professional audio/video, commercial displays, and immersive applications continue to expand, global video and audio transmission technologies are accelerating toward a new era of higher bandwidth, ultra-high resolutions, and elevated refresh rates.

Wieson Technologies Co., Ltd. announced today that its independently developed WIESON Ultra96 Cable 2-meter has successfully completed testing and certification procedures at an official HDMI Forum Authorized Testing Center (ATC), officially obtaining the HDMI® Ultra96 Cable certification (Model: AB9856-40113020-00). This accomplishment marks a significant technological and certification milestone for Wieson Technologies in HDMI® 2.2 Ultra96 Cable products, further establishing its footprint in the 96Gbps next-generation high-speed interconnect market.

The certification testing was conducted by UL Solutions, an official HDMI Forum Authorized Testing Center (ATC). Leveraging UL Solutions' rigorous high-speed product testing and validation capabilities, Wieson Technologies seamlessly accomplished all requisite compliance standards, demonstrating the company's robust engineering capabilities in high-speed cable architecture, signal integrity (SI), impedance control, and comprehensive quality assurance.

Core Technological Advantages: HDMI® 2.2 & Ultra96
  • 96Gbps Ultra-High Bandwidth: Compared to the 48Gbps bandwidth limit of Ultra High Speed HDMI® Cables in the HDMI 2.1 era, the next-generation Ultra96 specification doubles throughput up to 96Gbps, unlocking unprecedented performance for ultra-high resolutions, higher frame rates, and bandwidth-intensive applications.
  • Integration of Latency Indication Protocol (LIP): HDMI® 2.2 introduces the Latency Indication Protocol (LIP), providing precise latency data to significantly improve audio-video synchronization across multi-device configurations.
  • Stringent Ultra HDMI Certification Program: In accordance with official HDMI Forum standards, all Ultra96 and Ultra High Speed HDMI® Cables must comply with the Ultra HDMI Cable Certification Program across diverse physical structures and lengths.

Wieson Technologies has long been dedicated to advanced high-speed connector and cabling technologies, continuously investing in high-frequency raw materials, signal simulation, impedance precision, innovative connector engineering, and high-frequency test fixtures. The successful certification of the 2-meter Ultra96 Cable further validates Wieson's technical excellence and product readiness in next-generation high-speed interconnect solutions.
